If you start a watch or inspect for Gade, you agree to this. We describe the product as it works.

What Gade is

A report describes what an inspector saw on a given date, with photographs taken through the app. Owners always read that report in English. A watch is not a legal opinion or a title search. A land pre-purchase check can add a possession report and, if you book it, a licensed boundary survey against what the deed describes. That package still is not a title search, not a chain-of-title review, and not permission to buy. Where a job is legally consequential or disputed, Gade routes it to a licensed engineer or surveyor. That still does not make Gade your lawyer.

Accounts

Sign-in is a one-time code to your email or WhatsApp number. Keep that inbox or phone; it is the key to the account. You are responsible for activity under it.

Owners and payment

You pay per visit, not a monthly membership. Cadence is how often a visit is scheduled. It is not a billed plan and it does not change the price of a job. You see a price range until an inspector accepts; then the amount locks to that inspector’s tenure. Stripe holds the visit when you start it. We take that amount when the report is confirmed. Cancel an upcoming visit or end a watch at least 48 hours before the window and the hold is returned; inside 48 hours it is kept. Gade does not store your card or wallet. You can suspend the account or close it after open visits are paid.

Travel is guaranteed: $5 per visit. It is paid to the inspector in full. Gade takes none of it. A trip where nobody let the inspector in is handled under the no-access rules on that property, not as a free inspection you can repeat without limit.

Land pre-purchase checks

When you choose a land parcel, you can watch it on a cadence or book a one-time pre-purchase check. The possession step runs first. The boundary survey runs only if you ask for it after that report. Gade does not search title, verify the seller’s right to sell, or give a legal opinion. A clean physical report is not a green light to purchase. Title work belongs to a notaire or attorney.

Inspectors and payouts

Pay is published before you accept. Nothing releases until the report clears automated checks, and a person if it is flagged. A verification visit or an integrity hold can freeze pay until it resolves.

Payouts can go out on MonCash where that rail is live. Bank accounts, Natcom and mobile money wallets are paid from a recorded batch that Gade sends — not an instant wallet send.

Photographs and the visit

Inspectors photograph through the app. Coordinates and timestamps are captured at capture time and written on the server. Camera-roll uploads are not accepted. The photographs belong in the owner’s report; they are not the inspector’s to reuse.

Addresses

Exact addresses of empty houses stay off the job board until the assigned inspector’s unlock window. Inspectors do not copy, share, or keep a list of those addresses after the window closes. Owners tell us the truth about access so someone is not sent to a locked gate with no warning.

The message thread

Owner and inspector can message on a visit. Neither side sees the other’s number. The thread is for the job — not for exchanging personal contacts or negotiating off Gade.

Conduct

No fake visits, recycled photographs, or reports written from the road. Gade can pause or close an account that breaks this. Inspectors are vetted against photo ID and a selfie before paid work; that check is a person, not a form.

Coverage and an early product

Gade opens one area at a time in Haiti. An area that is still filling takes a waitlist name and is not charged. Joining the list for another country is not a watch, not a charge, and not a promise that country will open. Card charges, WhatsApp, and MonCash may still be stubbed in some environments; the product will say so rather than pretend every rail is live.

Responsibility

Gade is responsible for running the platform as described: assigning a vetted inspector, capturing photographs in-app, checking reports, and charging only when a report clears. We are not responsible for the condition of the property, for what happens between visits, or for losses that come from treating a field report as a legal document. To the extent the law allows, Gade’s liability for a visit is limited to what you paid for that visit.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the date that applies. Continuing to use Gade after a change is posted means the new terms apply to later visits.
